1/2 Cup applesauce (or 1 C butter)
1 C white sugar
1 C brown sugar
2 eggs
Cream abovwe ingredients together
Add:
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp lemon flavoring
Sift together and add to above:
2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp non aluminum baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Then add:
2 C quick oats ( I use regular and blend them for a quick minute)
1 C nuts (optional)
2 C raisins (Gale really likes raisins)
Dough will be stiff.Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet. Bake 350 for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are light brown.
