Biscuits Supreme, bread

3 Cups flour
1 Tbl baking powder, aluminum free
1 Tbl Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
3/4 tsp. Cream of tartar
3/4 Cup butter
1 Cup milk

Preheat oven to 450
In a large bowl stir together flour baking powder, sugar salt and cream of tartar. Using a pastry blender cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.  Make a well in the flour.Add milk all at once.  Using a fork stir until just moistened.
Turn out on lightly floured board 4 to 6 strokes just until dough holds together.  Pat or roll dough to 3/4 “ thick.  Cut out and place 1 “ apart on baking sheet or pan.  Bake 10-14 minutes.
